Rooms were clean and stocked. We were able to quickly get settled and asleep, We had to check in late at night and they were quick to get us set up,

The lobby area would benefit from sprucing up--the desk is missing some molding toward the bottom and the wall paint looks faded and old. The carpet needs replacing. The room was just about perfect--I had a small single queen room. The furnishings looked good--great color blocked curtains that kept the room fully dark. The towels are old and thin--need an upgrade!

Cleanness of the hotel and "No Pets Allowed" policy. Some people have allergy to fur, sweat of pets, bugs, larve, worms and their eggs etc. And it is so nice that Microtel Inn hotel understands that humans space and beds are not for pets. Pets shall be staying at animals' hotels. Hotel rooms needs renovation.

Claudia and Tom are amazing... whoever the white guy is with the gray hair that sits at the front desk and stares at you as you go back and forth and never opens his mouth and conducts himself as a front desk worker he would be the only complaint they need to put him in the back somewhere because he is not welcoming

Booked our room when we were driving through Illinois. The price was great and we were very pleased with the location (no road noise),the whole hotel was a pleasant surprise! Definitely on our return list.
